Cansea was founded by world champion ocean athlete Candice Appleby, whose life has been shaped by the ocean and a deep love for adventure. Raised in San Clemente, California, Candice spent her days in the sea—surfing, paddling, and competing at the highest levels. Over the years, she became deeply familiar with the toll that sun, saltwater, and wind can take on hair—especially long, mermaid-like locks like hers.

Cansea Hair Care was born from that passion—blending Candice’s lifelong connection to the sea with her desire to create hair care that is gentle, effective, and performance-driven. Whether you’re an ocean athlete, a busy parent, a weekend adventurer, or just someone who wants their hair to feel amazing, Cansea was made for you.
